McCain's Condescension and Rudeness In Debate

The #1 guys competing for the presidency and one of them conducts himself with honor, dignity and respect for his opponent. The other is rude, aloof and condescending
continually repeating variations on...what he doesn't understand it____; or, he still doesn't get it____; or, he can't seem to understand...

If McCain treats a highly educated, experienced, polite, American Senator (and likely future president) in such an insulting manner, patient and tolerant citizen candidate that way, I worry how he will deal with other lawmakers, heads of state around the world, not to mention what contempt he will demonstrate toward the average United States citizen?

John McCain needs to return to kindergarten to learn how to play well with others and
demonstrate kindness and tolerance of others' ideas.

Back Soon

I'm off on a brief photo safari to California's farmbelt, the central valley, where I'll not drive the major highways 5 or 99, but rather, meander the back roads and fields from Bakersfield to points north.

After that I'll be guiding a tour to San Francisco, Yosemite, Monterey, Big Sur/Highway 1, and then into Los Angeles.

A whirlwind 7 days.

Let me know if you have any "must see - must shoot" locations in the central valley.

Debate Point

As I watched the debate and McCain/Obama facing off and spewing historical and present day information about hot spots around the globe, I kept thinking how well Joe Biden
could contribute to the debate.

Could Sarah Palin have held her own and contributed? Nope.

Republicans...Talk About Ethnic Cleansing...Still 99.2% Lily White

Did anyone else notice that in the hours and hours of tv shots from all the media at the Republican convention, that the overwhelming majority of delegates were white folk, often older men and women?

After some digging for facts, turns out less than 1% of the delegates were people of color. Republicans...not really representative of the broad melting pot of today's American ethnic and cultural face.

Talk about ethnic cleansing!

McCain's Next Lie

McCain has emphasized his campaign is about straight talk. But, sticking to his (and Bush's) pattern of saying one thing, meaning another, and then doing the opposite, McCain has outright lied, been deceptive and left out the whole truth more frequently than not.

Numerous objective fact checking sites have documented this fact. As recently as the first debate, Obama repeatedly had to attempt to inject the facts, the whole truth that McCain simply chose to ignore while repeatedly over speaking Obama and the moderator.

So, the next big lie. When the Wall Street bailout bill is finally done, McCain will claim to have had a major, direct role in the negotiations (which couldn't be further from the truth when many of his own Republicans and Democrats have stated the exact opposite) and thereby saving the American economy from a meltdown.

He will go on to spin that Obama stood on the sidelines while the economy spun out of control and will bait the public by asking what kind of champion of change Obama really is.
