5.4 Earthquake Jolts Los Angeles Basin

Ok, so this is a famous photo from our last big earthquake here in the Los Angeles basin. But, we were jolted by a 5.4 magnitude quake at about 11:45 a.m. today. Though not a biggy, lifelong residents were even a bit startled which is surprising given that most of us locals tend to sit and sit and sit (or stay in bed if it's early in the a.m.) waiting to see if an earthquak
e warrants us actually moving our bodies to the doorway.
