Woman in Mourning

I recently completed a photo shoot for a Jewish newspaper (www.jewishjournal.com) with eight images accompanying a series of three articles related to funeral practices.

The woman in the photo was in the midst of her own very personal mourning having recently lost her husband and son. She is sitting in the Caves of Abraham at Mr. Sinai Memorial Park (www.mountsinaiparks.org), Simi Valley, California. The "caves" (crypts) sit in a stucco structure built into a hillside.
